How We Started
In 1998 the founder of Gotaticket.com Traffic School got a ticket on the campus of his Cal State University. He blew a stop sign after leaving the class of his last Accounting Final Exam. He was so excited to get to his girlfriends (who he was to marry and still is) house he got the ticket that changed his life.
He had to appear in front of a the local traffic school court judge and begged for mercy. He explained he had no money and was about to be married. He went on to tell the judge would do anything if he could reduce the fee. The judge showed mercy on him and the fee was reduced but he had to attend traffic school. He accepted the sentence graciously.
With a degree in Business and emphasis in Management his brain started brewing ideas. After taking a mail order traffic school course he really began to think of ideas to make a defensive driving course better for everyone who needs ticket dismissal.
After several months of development and many conversations with the right people (his father in-law to be, court officials, and programmers), Gotaticket.com was Live.
